Personalized Care Tailored to Your Needs

Get your life back and on the right track with personalized outpatient methadone detoxification and maintenance programs by the Addiction Treatment Center of New England in the Greater Boston area. Upon admission to the ATCNE program, an individual receives a thorough physical examination by the ATCNE medical staff both to assess general health status and to determine the treatment protocol best suited to the individual's rehabilitative needs. Typically, protocol choices include these services.

Admission Requirements and Referrals

For methadone maintenance services, applicants must meet the following Federal and program criteria:

For admission to drug-free treatment, a prospective client must be applying for treatment voluntarily, and complete required parts of the intake process.

For admission into methadone detoxification or methadone maintenance services, applicants must voluntarily apply for treatment, display signs of current physiological addiction to opiates as evidenced by withdrawal signs and symptoms, and complete all parts of the intake process. Applicants to the methadone maintenance program must also have a verifiable history of opioid addiction dating back at least one year. Admission to drug-free treatment requires voluntary application and completion of all parts of the intake process. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

ATCNE's weekly fee includes a full course of methadone treatment services: medical diagnostics and care, laboratory fees, medication, individual counseling and group therapy.

Funding from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s Division of Substance Abuse Services allows us to provide services on a sliding scale based on income. Charges for drug-free treatment services vary according to modality and are also subject to a sliding scale. For admission to drug-free treatment, a prospective client must be applying for treatment voluntarily, and complete required parts of the intake process. TO MAKE A REFERRAL OR FOR MORE INFORMATION, PLEASE CALL 617-254-1271 ext. 119.
