Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) |
Behavioral Health |
Methadone MaintenanceWe offer long-term methadone treatment for individuals with a lengthy history of addiction to opioids like heroin, fentanyl, and oxycodone. It includes daily dosing at our Brighton office, random drug-testing, as well as weekly group and counseling.
180-Day Program (outpatient methadone detoxification)For individuals with addictions to opioids desiring more short-term methadone treatment, we offer a six-month methadone program, where an initial stabilizing dose is administered followed by gradual, medically-supervised detoxification over a period of 180 days to reduce the physiological need for opioids. This includes daily dosing, random drug-testing, as well as weekly group and counseling.
Buprenorphine / SubutexWe offer buprenorphine (Subutex) for those with addictions to opioids in need of MAT where methadone may not be necessary. This requires daily dosing, random drug-testing, and weekly counseling.
Naltrexone / VivitrolWe offer naltrexone (Vivitrol) treatment for the treatment of opioid and alcohol use disorders. It is an extended-release medication, blocking the pleasurable effects associated with opioids and alcohol. This allows the medication to be administered on a monthly basis, as opposed to the daily dosing requirements of our methadone and buprenorphine programs. Weekly counseling is required.
